The smallest of Acer's Iconia Tab tablets, the 7-inch A100 and its 3G-equipped sibling the A101 somehow got the short end of the launch stick and have been delayed to an unknown date in the second half of this year.
The entry-level A100 runs Android 3.0 (the delay is likely to see it updated to 3.1) and features a Tegra 2 chip, a 7-inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, front- and rear-facing camera, and a battery enabling up to 5 hours of operation per charge.
Before the Iconia Tab A100 was slated to hit UK stores priced at 300 for the WiFi-only model and 400 for the 3G-ready unit.
