Having already launched the Intel Sandy Bridge-powered G3600, Acer has now let loose a new Aspire Predator desktop PC, one that retains the ***y black with orange accents chassis and optional features (like the Easy-swap drive bay) but utilizes and AMD platform.
Named G3100, this fresh Predator comes equipped with a Phenom II hexa-core processor, up to 8GB of RAM and a maximum of 6TB of storage space (via three 2TB hard drives), a DVD or Blu-ray Drive, an AMD or Nvidia graphics card, a multi-in-one card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, and optionally, USB 3.0 connectivity.
One G3100 configuration is now on sale for 649 and it packs a 2.6 GHz Phenom II X6 1035T chip, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB (7200 RPM hard drive), a GeForce GTX 460 1GB graphics card and a DVD writer (BEd: Can we get an encore, I mean credit?).
