Mac users in need of mo' space to backup their files can now get their hands on a Time Capsule that packs a sexy and hopefully sufficient 3TB hard drive. Beside releasing a new, high-capacity Time Capsule, Apple also stopped selling the 1TB model and lower the price tag of the 2TB version.
The 3TB Time Capsule costs $499 and, like its predecessors, features dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) 802.11n WiFi connectivity, a built-in firewall and WPA/WPA2 and 128-bit WEP encryption.
The 2TB model is now available for $299. Both models can be bought from the Apple Store .
