Eurocom's mobile offering is set to grow later this month through the release of two new Optimus series gaming laptops, the Huron River-based, Full HD (1920 x 1080) Fox 2.0 (15.6-inch) and Lynx 2.0 (17.3-inch).
Both of these machines feature a 2nd generation Core processor (up to a Core i7-2820QM), a maximum of 16GB of DDR3 memory, one or two HDDs or SSDs (up to 1.75TB of storage), a DVD or Blu-ray drive, a GeForce GT 555M 2GB graphics card (backed by the Optimus graphics switching technology), a 9-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo speakers, two USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI output, and a battery allowing for up to 4 hours of operation.
The Fox 2.0 measures 374 (W) x 250 (D) x 40.2 (H) mm and weights 2.6kg, while the Lynx 2.0 is 413 by 277.5 by 41.4 mm and 3.1kg.
