Disturbing a rather quiet period for the graphics market, EVGA is now preparing the introduction of a new graphics card, one GeForce GTX 580 which is equipped with the Hydro Copper 2 full-cover waterblock and packs 3072MB of GDDR5 memory, double the amount available on 'regular' GTX 580s.
Taking up one PCI slot, EVGA's 3GB card has 512 CUDA Cores, GPU/shader clocks of 772/1544 MHz, a 384-bit interface, a memory clock of 4008 MHz, a backplate, dual-DVI and HDMI outputs, and a SLI connector.
The GeForce GTX 580 3072MB Hydro Copper 2 is not yet shipping but is listed with a $739.99 price tag.
