Android users rejoice as you're getting a new, free app from Google, one that allows you to create, edit, upload and share documents. That's right, it's a Google Docs app, now awaiting download in the Android Market. An Android 2.1+ device is needed to run this one.
The Goodle Docs app allows users to view documents, PDFs, image sand other files (which can be open straight from Gmail), it enables sharing with contacts on the phone, and includes a function that convert a photo of a printed text to a document (expect some OCR mistakes though). For easy access people can add a Docs widget to the home screen which includes three buttons, each with a useful function - jumping to starred documents, taking a photo to upload, and creating a new document.
The Google Docs app is available in English and can be found here .
