HP has stealthily updated its mobile PC offer recently by making available a new, Sandy Bridge-enhanced, Pavilion laptop, the g6s. This model features a 15.6-inch (1366 x 768) display and comes in five glossy colors - charcoal gray, sonoma red, pacific blue, sweet purple and luminous rose.
The g6s comes with borderless a touchpad and a chiclet keyboard, it runs Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) SP1, and packs a second-gen Core processor (up to a Core i7-2620M), up to 8GB of RAM and 750GB of storage, integrated (Intel HD 3000) or discrete )Radeon HD 6470M) graphics, an 8x DVD writer, Altec Lansing speakers, a webcam, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, and a 6-cell battery enabling up to 4.25 hours of operation.
