A quick look over HP's online shop reveals that the new, Huron River-based EliteBook 8760w (17.3-inch), 8560w (15.6-inch) and 8460w (14-inch) mobile workstations have become available for purchase, starting at $1,899, $1,349 and $1,299, respectively.
HP's mobile machines feature a 'FORGE' design framework with aluminum-alloy hinges and cast titanium-alloy display latches for enhanced durability, and are equipped with a 2nd generation Core CPU (up to a Core i7-2920XM on the 8760w), up to 32GB of RAM, a DVD or Blu-ray drive (which can be swapped for a HDD), one/two HDDs or SSDs, and an AMD (up to a FirePro M5950 1GB) or Nvidia (up to a Quadro 5010M 4GB) professional graphics card.
