One more day to go until the webOS-flavored TouchPad ships in the US and its maker, HP, stepped up the plate to announce that the UK is the next market that will get the device, the plan being so have the tablet on sale there on July 15th.
As you probably know the TouchPad features a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768) capacitive touchscreen, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel webcam, stereo speakers backed by Beats Audio technology, a micro-USB port, an accelerometer, a compass, a gyroscope, a light sensor and a 6300 mAh battery.
In the UK, the 16GB TouchPad will cost 399, while the 32GB model will be priced at 479. The device will be sold through and by multiple retailers - PC World, Curry's, Amazon, Argos, Comet, & Carphone Warehouse.
