Microsoft has recently began the roll out of an update for its free email service (Hotmail) which is claimed to allow for greater performance (through the use of HTML5 goodies) and for greater functionality.
Inspired by Outlook, the tweaks brought to Hotmail enable its users to set a default font and personal signature for all emails, to take advantage of keyboard shortcuts (they are the same as in Outlook), and to get more from the right-click menu through added actions like Reply, Reply all, or Forward the message (previously-available actions like Mark as unread, Delete, Junk, Move, and View message source are still there).
Beside all this Microsoft also improved the way the Back button works and made it so that messages deleted by accident can be recovered via an added link in the Deleted folder.
