In lack of a police box capable of traveling through time, those interested in seeing what Q4 will bring in terms of LGA2011 motherboards can check out Computex 2011 as that's where several manufacturers are displaying X79 boards.
The incoming LGA2011 on display in Taiwan includes the Gigabyte GA-X79A-UD3 earlier today as well as the ASRock X79 Extreme4, Asus C1X79 EVO and ECS X79R-A, all of which can be seen just below.
Beside supporting Sandy Bridge-E processors, the three boards feature four DDR3 (DDR3-2600+ on the ECS model) slots, 3/4 PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots for SLI or CrossFireX configurations, a multitude of SATA ports, most of which are SATA 6.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 connectivity, 7.1 channel audio, a debut LED and Power and Reset buttons. The designs aren't 100% done as you probably have guessed but ASRock, Asus and ECS still have time to finish them.
