Not surprisingly, MSI has also (officially) joined the Z68 club today, announced two motherboards powered by Intel's new chipset, the Z68A-GD80 (B3) (ATX form factor) and the Z68MA-ED55 (B3) (micro ATX). A third model, the Z68A-GD65 (B3) is also on the way.
Both of MSI's boards utilize Military Class II components (Hi-c CAP, Super Ferrite Chokes, Solid CAPs), and feature support for the Virtu GPU virtualization software , for LGA1155 processors, the include the OC Genie II overclocking function, Click BIOS, DrMOS, APS (Active Phase Switching) and the Winki 3 instant-on OS.
The Z68A-GD80 and Z68MA-ED55 also have support for 3+TB drives, and pack four DDR3-2133 memory slots, 3/2 PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI or CrossFireX setups, four SATA 3.0 Gbps and three/two SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, six USB 3.0 ports (four on the back panel, two via a header), 7.1 channel audio, Power, Reset, OC buttons, and voltage read points.
The Z68A-GD80 (found at €200 on pre-order) include dual Gigabit Ethernet and provides DVI and HDMI outputs, while the Z68MA-ED55 has one Gigabit port and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors.
