Irvine-based memory and storage company Netlist has announced a couple of new additions to its offer, Mini and Slim solid state drives boasting an mSATA connector which are aimed for use within datacenter servers, networking and storage equipment.
Netlist's drives have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a 48-bit addressing mode, pack 64MB of cache memory and can be equipped with SLC (single-level cell) or MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash chips.
The mSATA Mini SSD goes from 4GB to 32GB in terms of capacity and delivers read and white speeds of up to 120 MB/s and 48 MB/s, respectively, while the mSATA Slim SSD tops 128GB and 240/190 MB/s (reading/writing). Both types of drives are now sampling.
