Confirming a report from a few weeks ago, ViewSonic has announced and revealed at Computex in Taiwan the very first 7-inch tablet to run Android Honeycomb (3.0). The device is named ViewPad 7x and should go on sale in June.
ViewSonic's tablet weights just 380 grams and has an 1024 x 600 touchscreen, a Tegra 2 SoC, dual cameras (front and rear), WiFi (with DLNA support), HSPA+, a HDMI output, and a shiny back cover with a triangle pattern. Pricing info is not (yet) available.
